PostgreSQL: News: PostgreSQL 9.1 Beta 1 Released.

It’s available from Portage now. As usual for beta releases, the features are locked and they really need your help finding any bugs that may have made it this far.

And, 9.1 is looking like a pretty sweet release.

Over the past few days I have been working on a project for work when it suddenly dawned on me that PostGIS would do exactly what I want and be incredibly useful for some marketing-related information. So, I got to work on the PostGIS 1.5.2 ebuild.
