At first, I forgot to update the updates file for mozilla and firefox, and then mozilla-launcher&#8217;s move caused some dep corruption for people.  The remedy, if you are experiencing this after a recent sync is to <b>rm -rf \/var\/cached\/edb\/dep\/* &amp;&amp; emerge &#8211;metadata<\/b>.  My humblest apologies to everyone who got bitten by this bug.<\/p>\n<p>Now, shout outs to <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.gentoo.org\/~vapier\">SpankY<\/a> for getting <a href=\"http:\/\/packages.gentoo.org\/packages\/?category=sys-libs;name=com_err\">com_err<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/packages.gentoo.org\/packages\/?category=sys-libs;name=ss\">libss<\/a> into portage.  Now we can remove the building of those from the next e2fsprogs, and fix up the kerberi (and <a href=\"http:\/\/packages.gentoo.org\/packages\/?category=net-fs;name=openafs\">afs<\/a> apparently as well) to just DEPEND\/RDEPEND on those.
