{"id":28,"date":"2009-10-01T20:20:23","date_gmt":"2009-10-01T20:20:23","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2022-02-07T09:40:47","modified_gmt":"2022-02-07T08:40:47","slug":"xorg-server-1-6-is-now-stable-on-amd64-o","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.gentoo.org\/remi\/2009\/10\/01\/xorg-server-1-6-is-now-stable-on-amd64-o\/","title":{"rendered":"xorg-server 1.6 is now stable on amd64, other arches to follow soon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Turned out that xorg-server 1.6 is pretty much ready for stabilization, as only a handful of bugs were reported over the testing period since last week, and they only concerned the stabilization list.<\/p>\n<p>Without further ado, I&#8217;ve asked our faithful Arch Teams (pretty much all of &#8217;em) to stabilize xorg-server 1.6 and friends. amd64 was the first one to the finish line with a stabilization done in under a day!<\/p>\n<p>Gentoo is again back in business for X.
