{"id":2,"date":"2012-06-19T23:50:40","date_gmt":"2012-06-19T23:50:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.gentoo.org\/blueness\/?page_id=2"},"modified":"2013-01-27T14:08:39","modified_gmt":"2013-01-27T14:08:39","slug":"sample-page","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.gentoo.org\/blueness\/sample-page\/","title":{"rendered":"About"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I received a B.Sc. from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brocku.ca\/\">Brock Univserity<\/a> in 1986, a M.Sc. from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uoguelph.ca\/\">The University of Guelph<\/a> in 1988 and a Ph.D. in Theoretical Solid State Physics from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cornell.edu\/\">Cornell<\/a> in 1991. I then took a position as a postdoctoral fellow in Chemistry at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcmaster.ca\/\">McMaster University<\/a> in 1992 before coming to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dyc.edu\/\">D&#8217;Youville College<\/a> in 1995, where I have been ever since.\u00a0 In 2001,\u00a0 we started the <a href=\"http:\/\/tweedledee.dyc.edu\/it\"> Information Technology Program<\/a> here,\u00a0 and I have been directing it ever since.\u00a0 My early work at Guelph and Cornell concentrated on developing new numerical methods for solving quantum mechanics problems arising from issues in solid state Physics. At McMaster, I continued developing numerical methods but shifted from solid state to related problems in molecular collisions in Chemistry.<\/p>\n<p>With my years of pushing numerical methods to the limits of cpu capabilities, I bring a different perspective to the world of Computer technologies.\u00a0 My current interests concentrate on developing high security Operating System environments which are resistant to various penetration and forensic techniques.\u00a0 I have been a Gentoo developer since 2010 and contributed for some years before.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/opensource.dyc.edu\/sites\/default\/files\/basile.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<pre>Anthony G.
