Ok, I hate Klipper.
Here's the thing: I really want an X11 clipboard manager that would be exactly the same as Emacs' kill-ring.

For those who don't use Emacs, the kill-ring is basically a clipboard that holds streches of killed text (think: "cells" of copied/cut text).
Now, once you yank ("paste"), you can either provide an argument to C-y (so C-u 2 C-y yanks what you killed 2 kills ago), OR, the method I like, is C-y (yank) and then just M-y a few times to find exactly what you want.

If I make no sense: Kill Ring & Earlier Kills.

So that's how I want my clipboard manager to behave.
I'd C-v and if I don't like the text the clipboard manager just barfed, I'll hit M-v (actually using C-y and M-y, like in Emacs, would be cooler) again and again until I find what I want.
or C-u 10 C-v (again, C-y would be cooler) to go back 10 "copies" ago, and paste just that.

Any ideas? (esp. by the sawmill users?)

Original post blogged on b2evolution.
