Let me be the first to thank you for all the work and efforts!
Normally, a message like this from a gentoo dev, involves bullshit about problems with other devs or something alike.. but this is just awesome: a nice job, concerts.. go go Lars!
Wish you a lot of luck and fun with the job, and especially with the concerts!

Hope you have a good time in Koln (wonder how I do an 'o' umlaut on a UK kb layout - can't be arsed to look up the code.)
Thanks for your work on Gentoo.
Much appreciated.
Cheers

I think it's far from being feature complete, but for the future, I'd much prefer to have libburn/cdrskin as a replacement for cdrtools.
It finally get's rid of that "use commandline-tool form gui"-thing.

Have a look at the presentation listing (http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/pr/docs/presentation-listing.xml) . There is also one available in English. But unfortunately it's not up to date.

Is there english version of these slides? I'd really like to show it to my friends and read it myself. I know only basics of German. Ich verschte nicht:)

Oh, I think I must have missed that small change in GLEP 39. I attended the FOSDEM-meeting in 2005, but there were so many changes to the proposal afterwards. Thanks for this hint!

With GLEP 39 I don't think you are required to have strategic leads any more. Just a single project lead is enough.

You are right. I copied the list from above and forgot to take out Hyperthreading. And 2x DualCore is even better than 2x HT-capable CPUs ;-) I took it out of the list now.

I'm not completely familiar with high end CPU's, but I do try keep up with the news. I wasn't aware that AMD processors supported hyperthreading though.

Ask ian for the artwork, he is the creator (of mostly all).
