			<description>I saw just two days ago that Brother now have an official Sane driver for MFC scanners. Were you aware of this? I'm not too sure from what you wrote in your first paragraph. The sources for it are even available.&lt;br /&gt;

If that's no good for any reason, it looks like someone already submitted a 1.0.16 patch for that SourceForge project. Not sure if you saw that either.&lt;br /&gt;
