i spent a few hours writing the wiki page for rove, a live sample cutter and performance application for the monome. i included screenshots and a video and all kinds of stuff, including tutorials.
some of the content was based on the readme included in the source code, but the readme is outdated. for example, the shift/meta keys have been replaced with simpler pattern recording, and a multi-session feature: you can load more than one song into rove, which means you can do smooth transitions between setlists. rove will even keep playing the samples from your old session as you layer the new one over it.
i need to start making more music; i haven’t recorded or brainstormed anything in awhile. been spending my time coding and writing needed documentation, although the time spent doing these things is admittedly distracted and unfocused.
