Warning 1: Our baselayout rocks so much but you need to disable the network settingsto have NetworkManager working.
Warning 2: You need the masked version of pam and pam_console
Warning 3: If you want to improve the Gentoo backend you are welcome to do so send the patches to our bugzilla
