Ok this is becoming a rite: everytime I buy a new keyboard, something is just wrong and I need to fix it. This time the problem was the extended keys as I already told in the previous blog entries. Well today I think I have dominated it completely, now it works
THe solution of this required quite a bit of work, but 34 hours after I bought the keyboard, it was working fine. I have prepared a a patch which can be used to make it working, but it’s not complete yet.
If you want to know in deep which problem was it, the solution I found and the way to make it work if you have one, continue the read of this entry.
[little edit: I'm too used to use ~flame, but my username on d.g.o is flameeyes
Fixed the patch's URL]
What do you use in your xorg.conf ? I have errors, it didn’t like evdev all of a sudden- its unclear how to use the patch aside from the xkb profile..
just paste in your input sections from your xorg.conf for us then or something.
Thanks for this patch, its progress!! ive had the kb and mouse a while…
but the down arrow key sends a return? not sure about that.
Hi, is possible to have the xorg.conf related config ?
I’m trying to have it to work, but got some problems … Thanks.
