What is it about Claws that makes it mighty? I'm not thrilled by Mail at this juncture and looking for alternatives asside from t-bird or MS's unfortunate, bloat ridden, Entourage. What are the best things about Claws that makes you want to port it to OS X?

I googled for "screenrc". What I wanted to do is change the escape sequence (although C-o also isn't good, because it's open-line in emacs) and increase the size of the scrollback buffer. In addition to those you also have the caption which, although I hadn't imagined it, sounds like a great idea. You rock :)

I appreciate all the hard work you've done Damien, but a few questions :-)

Is there any .dmg for the latest version of Claws compiled for ppc?

Secondly, I've got your compile running on my PowerMac G4 and it seems to have a much "clunkier" interface that when running under KDE on my Kubuntu box. Any chance of an Aqua interface or is that merely a case of installing a them from the Claws website?

Well you are right, there is no plugin in the osX version. I just need to compile them and put them in the release, that's all :)
