Heh, I've had Haynes manuals for previous vehicles. I'm somewhat comfortable doing simple repairs, but I don't mess with anything that has the potential to leave my vehicle undrivable :P

I wonder why gentoo developers tend to be pussies in other life aspects ?
Dude, emerge yourself Haynes service manual for your truck model, roll up your sleeves, solve dependencies and recompile the thing ;o)
If nothing else, you'll get that unmistakable Gentoo feeling that one experiences when fu*king around with equipment that his a** might depend on the very next day....

Dude, that sucks. I've been having car problems myself. Every now and then my car decides that its going to die every time I take my foot off the gas. I think its a rush hour protest, because thats when it seems to happen the most. I wish it would refrain on icy hills though. I'm going to have to take it into my boyfriends shop when I get my student loans. I also have to buy new glasses, because I broke my old ones. Suck!

Unfortunately, this was one of the things that made it so "brittle" and likely to fail in so many ways.

This was actually the thing I liked most about the installer, too bad you chose to go this direction :(

Signal handling on windows .. its a big joke .. SIGALRM ..huh! i still remember my experience with it. Somewhere singals are not platform independent .. on windows use thread + win32api and for Posix use thread + std. signals .. thats how i resolved my problem.

They might be light and easy, but when you mix in signal handling, 'sane' seems to go right out the window.

if the installer basically moved you from item to item, that would be great. you still do it, but it ties things up nicely.

That is possibly the funniest review i have ever read.
I do love the ability to press the install button twice to install over your original installation!

Intresting review, I'll be sure to pass this on to GenUX this might help them to improve there product. It is nice however that they have contributed 2 mirror server's for Gentoo. And possibly this will help foster even more gentoo users.

Man, I had a 96. You're slipping. I tied with the highest score on my floor, which I was actually quite disheartened about. I thought I was above the RPG nerds on the other end of the hall.

Love,
Your only sister

My score is about the same... looks like we're gonna lose CVS access soon.
